The workshop is sold out!  If you are interested in attending, please email with your name, email address and phone number to be placed on a waiting list.

The Difficult Airway Workshop will start out with the presentation of a trigger film and use in fostering a discussion of managing the difficult airway.  Following this, there will be a review of cricothyrotomy and a lecture reviewing the difficult airway algorithm and vortex approach.  After lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the hands-on portion of the workshop.  During this session, attendees will be exposed to situations requiring use of different modalities to work through a difficult airway and obtain a secure airway.  Participants will engage in opportunities to augment the related technical skills and use of resource management principles in difficult airway situations.  Use of simulation, debriefing and different airway devices will be incorporated.

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 4.00 Class A CE credits; Code Number 1036209; Expiration Date 6/2/2018.

Cost to attend is $165/person and the session is open to both CRNAs and SRNAs (the fee is the same).  Fee will increase to $265/person after May 16.
